If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

One of the key elements to running a blog these days is have a good RSS feed for others to subscribe to. I ran across this site, rssHugger.com, designed to help promote your blog. Its a great way for Bloggers and readers to come together and help each other out. Bloggers use RSS feeds to summarize their posts to make things easier for readers to browse through while they are looking for the topic of choice. And by subscribing to feeds and using viral marketing bloggers build their readership. rssHugger is truly a great tool and I recommend it to anyone that is looking to help promote their blog.

There are rumors floating around the net about one of the great PC hardware review sites, Tomshardware.com, being sold. In reality, it wasn’t actually Toms Hardware Guide that has been sold. Here is a quote from Omid Rahmat, CEO of Tom’s Publishing LLC, addressing the rumor.
“TG Publishing, the publisher of Tom’s Hardware Guide, has been sold.”
-The Inquirer
Needless to say, for any fans of Toms Hardware, we shouldn’t have much to worry about. Keep your eyes on Hardware Blog Portal for any updates.

It seems that making money online is the number one reason to blog these days. A rather new site that touches on some hardware devices that you and I may use in our daily lives. Ja Kel Daily Dot Com. The site looks very familiar to anyone who has read some of John Chow Dot Com. Ja Kel Daily Dot Com has a lot of potential. The creator likes to share changes he is making and different ad services he is using to make money. The objective of the site is to spread the word on different routes the average blogger can take to make money. We can all learn a lot from this site over time.

Lets start off on the right foot. There are a lot of great PC related blogs out there I would love to mention here on The Portal, but for now I would like to mention just a few.
It seems everyone is out to make a quick and easy buck these days, but there are not to many that are really doing it all that well with blogs. If you are into making money online, then I will try to point you in the right direction. Here are a few sites you need to check out: John Chow Dot Com and Blog Rambler.com. Both sites are developed by completely different types of bloggers and you will notice the difference when you see them.
John Chow Dot Com is a somewhat seasoned site with a lot to it. This site covers all sorts of topics, including tips to make money online. Mr. Chow has put into action a great plan to help create back-links to his site, while also helping other bloggers as well. Check out this review on his page.
Blog Rambler is a blog masters page. This is a brand new site from a seasoned veteran. Its simple to the average user, but using well developed tricks of the trade and tips from some high ranking Google officials, this “Redneck Programmer from Mississippi” has proven to the world he knows what he is doing. This site and others he has created are definitely something to pay attention to. It covers topics from Google’s Analytics to Wordpress design.
One more site I stumbled across just the other day is Laptopgamers.com. This site is a great site for the gamers in all of us. It covers a wide range of hardware topics, and if you are looking to step into an online gaming community this would be a great place to start. Check it out.
